HomeZilla's mission is to make buying a home easier and faster.

We have two offices, located in Nova Scotia at Cape Breton University (CBU), as well as in Toronto. Our team, currently consisting of 3 employees, are responsible for creating Canada's fastest growing real estate webiste, as well as collecting relevant and useful geo-data. Jr. SEM/SEO/Data Analyst(Cape Breton)

If so this position is for you!

The position, based in Cape Breton, will focus on monitoring HomeZilla's SEM and SEO campaigns, as well as, designing new features for our internal SEM & SEO tools.

Day to day responsibilities include monitoring SEO/SEM traffic, as well as planning and testing changes for future development. Most of this position will include independant study, as there is lots of material to learn about SEO/SEM.

This position is open to all recent University grads with a focus on MBA, Business, Math, Psychology and Marketing students at CBU.

Provincial Data Research Assistant (Cape Breton)

Our team is growing and we are looking to add an intern to help with data collection and creation. The position, based in Cape Breton, will focus on finding working with provincial governments across Canada get HomeZilla access to physical geodata and converting it to a digital format. The HomeZilla team knows there is tons of information that would be valuable to home buyers but much of this information is hard to access. Your position would be to make this data more accessible.

Day to day, you will collect and find physical information (charts, pictures, etc) then work with the technical team to find a process for converting to digital media to display on their website. Once the data is live on our website, you will monitor usage to determine possible changes or updates.

This position is open to MBA, Business and Political Science students at CBU. MBA students will also be required to help develop business plans to makes pieces of data more valuable. PolySci students will be expected to develop a process to help work with the govenment in the future.

NOTE: this job is partially funded by the Government of Canada, to qualify you must be 30 or under and be enrolled in University (full or part time). This position is part-time with a salary range of $10 - $13 per hour.
