A native of Fredericton, Dan moved to Halifax in 1969 after receiving a Diploma in Business Administration from The Saint John Institute of Technology. Dan spent 19 years working for CN Rail in Halifax, Dartmouth and Truro. Dan started Danielsons ~ Water 'N' Wine in South Centre Mall in Spryfield in 1992. The store is now at 5 Dentith Rd. and managed by his son Jason but Dan retains an office in the store for his Real Estate business. He spent 13 years involved in Scouting in Lower Sackville. Dan was also a founding member of the District 18 Business and Development Committee, as well as its Treasurer for several years. Dan now sits on the Board of Directors, and is currently serving as Vice Chairman, of the Spryfield and District Business Commission.
